H. Janet Witham, 94, of 130 Elmwood Drive, Emporium, PA died at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys on  Saturday (June 19, 2010) afternoon.s
She was born March 10, 1916 in Renovo, PA a daughter of the late Lewis A. and Alice V. Lehman Smith. On November 30, 1939 in St. James Catholic Church, Driftwood she married the late Harold R. "Bus" Witham.
Mrs. Witham graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1934 and St Vincents Nursing Hospital as a registered nurse. She w St. Francis Hospital in Olean NY for 3 yrs and was a nurse at Sylvania for over 43 years. She was known for her love of Butterflies and Hummingbirds. She enjoyed bingo, eating out, taking rides and spending time with family and friends. She was the last member of imm family. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday (June 22, 2010) at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.

ST. MARYS — Lawrence E. “Larry” Schloder, 69, of 3055 Spruce Lane, Truman, died in on Wednesday (June 16, 2010) at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys, following a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, St. Marys.


   

Delores E. Turner, 85, of 9 Front Street, Emporium, PA died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium on Wednesday (June 9, 2010) evening.
She was born Apr 11, 1925 in Renovo, PA a daughter of the late Dominic and Jessie DeJoice Valeria.
Mrs. Turner retired from Sylvania where she worked for over 35 years.
