Tyler Grey Hodson, 32, of 716 Cranberry St., Erie died at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie on Monday (May 27, 2013) morning following an automobile accident.
He was born February 11, 1981 in St. Marys a son of James Grey Hodson, Jr. and Kimberley A. Irwin, Emporium

Tyler graduated from Cameron County High School, in the class of 1999 and attended Penn State University. He resided in Erie for the past several years and was employed with Accuride of Erie. Tyler enjoyed bike riding, jeeping,playing his guitars and drawing artwork.

Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7 PM

Funeral Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Thursday (May 30, 2013) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joseph Short, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.

Gerald L. Allman, 73, of Austin, Pa., formerly of Emporium, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys.
 
Born January 8, 1940 in Emporium he was the son of the late Sherman and Marjorie Thomas Allman.  In 1961 he married Betty Sue Baker who passed away in November of 1998.
 
Mr. Allman was a veteran of the United States Navy.
 
Following his service in the navy he returned to Emporium and was employed as a logger in the lumbering business. He eventually settled in Pasadena, Texas and was employed as a long distance truck driver based out of that state. In 1996 he returned to Emporium and continued to drive truck until retiring in 2006. Mr. Allman recently relocated to Austin.
 
He was a member of the Bucktail Rod & Gun Club in Emporium.
 
Survivors include: two sons, David W. (Juanita) Allman of Austin and Gerald L. Allman, Jr. of Bolivar, NY; one daughter, Linda Lee Allman of Olean, NY; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one brother, James (Madeline) Allman of Dunnellon, FL; one sister, Judy (Ted) Nichols of Emporium; and several nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lee Allman in 1948.
 
There will be no visitations. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
 
Arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium.

Krista L. Losey, 29, of 220 W. Greenwood St., Emporium died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Saturday (May 18, 2013) evening.
She was born February 10, 1984 in St. Marys a daughter of Scott A. Miglicio, Emporium and Connie Losey Andrews, Emporium.
Krista graduated from Cameron County High School and had attended Virginia Tech.

Memorial Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday (May 21, 2013) at 5:00 PM with Rev. Burce Burkness, Pastor, St. Johns Lutheran Church, officiating.

Anna Guisto, 86, of 414 Spring Street, Emporium died at her residence, on Thursday (May 16, 2013) morning.
She was born November 17, 1926 in Emporium a daughter of the late Angelo and Michella Fragale Gennocro.
She married the late Jack Guisto

Mrs. Guisto graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1944. Years ago she worked at Sylvania. She and her husband owned and operated the former Crescent Hotel in Emporium. Anna was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 194, the Women of the Moose, Chaper 264, the Christabelle Club, Emporium Senior Center and St. Mark Catholic Church. She was also a charter member of the VFW Womans Auxiliary, Unit #6222, Emporium. Anna was an avid bingo player and loved to play the card game "shoot the moon".

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Saturday (May 18, 2013) at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 PM.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.

Lila M. Clancy, 93, formerly of Sterling Run, Emporium and Austin, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.
 
Born May 19, 1919 in Sterling Run she was the daughter of Grant and Fannie Teriberry Hart. In 1936 in Emporium she married Gerald F. Clancy who died March 17, 2006.
 
She attended school in Sterling Run and moved to Austin in 1958. For a few years in the 1960s she was employed by Sylvania Electric in Emporium. Mrs. Clancy was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
 
Survivors include: four sons, Edward (Sandy) Clancy of Bradford, William Clancy of Killbuck, NY, Richard (Judith) Clancy of Emporium, and Robert Clancy of Zolfo Springs, FL; three daughters, Barbara Clancy of Bowling Green, FL, and Anna Marie (Alb) Glover and Mary (Dennis) Baker both of Austin,; 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great, great grandchildren; and also many nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Clancy was predeceased by one son, one daughter, five brothers, two sisters, and six grandchildren.
 
There will be no visitations. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

David M. Croyle, Sr., 86, currently of Old West Creek Road, Emporium, formerly of Williamsport and Emporium, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
 
Born March 13, 1927 in South Fork, he was the son of the late Homer and Leona Gramling Croyle. He was married to Gloria Morrison who died April 8, 2012.
 
Mr. Croyle was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy.
 
For 26 years he was employed by GTE Sylvania in Emporium and Williamsport and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. After being transferred to Williamsport he eventually left Sylvania and was self employed as a landscaper.
 
Survivors include: one son, David Croyle, Jr. of Emporium; two daughters, Mrs. Karen Wood of Mesa, AZ, and Mrs. Debbie (Michael) Verdini of Yardley, PA; eight grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Croyle of Culpepper, VA; one sister Mrs. Garnet Ross of Winchester, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Mr. Croyle was predeceased by two brothers.
 
There will be no visitations. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Barbara Cade (Stratton) Neal, age 92, of Green Ridge Village, Newville, PA and Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, PA died Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Guy and Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.
 
She was born January 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late William and Jeannette Cade Stratton. She was married to the late John S. Neal, Jr. for 59 years.
 
She was a graduate of Russell Sage College with a B.S. degree in Business Education and attended the Harvard-Radcliffe Program in Business Administration.
 
Mrs. Neal was a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Levittown, PA, St. John’s Episcopal Church-on-the-Square, Carlisle, PA, and Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Emporium. She was a church organist for many years for several denominations.
 
She is survived by: two sons, William S. Neal, Esq. and wife, Ellen, of Queens, NY, and Dr. George B. Neal and wife, Sarah, of Bedford, NH; two daughters, Nancy Neal Couchman and husband, Kevin, of Emporium, and Judith Neal Krauss and husband, Pete, of Pipersville, PA; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.
 
Mrs. Neal was predeceased by a sister, Jean Stratton Patton and a brother Jarvis Stratton.
 
There will be no calling hours. Memorial Services will be held in St. John’s Episcopal Church-on-the-Square, Carlisle where interment will made be in the Columbarium. There will also be Memorial Services in Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Emporium and the time will be announced at a later date.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John’s Episcopal Church, Box 612, Carlisle, PA, 17013, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Box 88, Emporium, PA 15834, or the Green Ridge Village Fund, Newville, PA 17241.

Jerry Boyd McDivitt, 68, of Lindenwood Drive, Emporium, formerly of Port Allegany, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Shippen Township.

 
 Born May 18, 1944 in Bradford he was the son of Jess and Ruth Heidrich McDivitt. He was the longtime companion of Frances Vermillion who survives.
 
 Mr. McDivitt was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having attained the rank of Sergeant while serving during the Vietnam War.
 
 A resident of Emporium since 2005, Jerry was a 1963 graduate of Port Allegany High School. Following his time in the marines he held several different jobs until opening a garage in Mountain View, Missouri. In 1992 he returned to Port Allegany where he opened Jerry’s Service Center which he owned & operated for 12 years. He eventually relocated to Emporium and for the past 8 years was employed by Gore’s Auto Service in Emporium.
 
 Jerry was an avid bowler, hunter & fisherman and was a foster parent several times.
 
 Surviving in addition to his companion, Fran, are: her two children, Ricky (Sonya) Vermillion and Crystal Vermillion both of Smethport; her four grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Melanie and Gordon; three brothers, Robert McDivitt of Augusta, Georgia, Otto McDivitt of Louisiana, and Elmer McDivitt of Eldred; five sisters, Mrs. Onalee Dieterle, Mrs. Connie (Eli) Schneider, and Grace McDivitt all of Eldred, Mrs. Iona (Richard) David of Arcadia, Florida, and Mrs. Cora (Richard) Darrin of Oren, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
 
 He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
 
 Visitations will be held in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. until Noon at which time Funeral & Committal Services will be held with the Rev. Bruce Burkness, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Emporium, officiating.
 
Burial will be in Sanford Cemetery, Shippen Township.
 
 Military honors will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
 
 Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Sanford Cemetery Association
